Mood Board

modern?
This week in interior design we are learning about how to use olioboard. Olioboard is a website that allows you to create rooms and express your own personal style using a large variety of items. I made a mood board using this website. A mood board is something that interior designers use to reflect personal style by showing things that you like, such as different color schemes or styles. I also took a “HGTV What’s My Style” survey. This survey asks questions such as what kind of home I would prefer, using multiple pictures. My end results were that my style is midcentury mod, Open, airy, organic spaces, all about form and function. Sophisticated and sleek yet approachable, and alluring. My mood board reflects my style because it is modern. I feel that I enjoy things that are modern. I also like the look of mostly black, white, and glass look, but with a few very bright, almost/sometimes neon colors splashing bits of excitement into the room. I relate this to my personality because I like to do new exciting things. My mood board virtual room would cost about $10,503 in real life. In conclusion, I feel that the mood board is a good way to express, display, and see what your style would cost.
